Karachi Children’s Art Fest (KCAF) 2014

25th/26th January 2014
Venue: Goethe Institut

While there is a consensus, rightly so, that Children are our future, there seems to be very little that we offer them as a society, especially in regards to the development of their critical thought process. It was with these concerns that the foundation stone for the first ever Karachi Children’s Art Fest has been laid down.

With activities varying from Clay workshop, Storytelling, Shadow Puppetry, Art Activities, Origami, Music, Animated Movies, Still life workshop, Creative Writing, we are truly trying to present a diverse range of activities that come under the scope of art.

Organized by ArtChowk-The Gallery, Spaces Gallery and TBYU in collaboration with Goethe Institut, Alliance Francaise and Saturday Studio, we hope to explore with kids the various dimensions of art and crafts and to create a sense of just how vast and diverse the field of Art is.

    Hello there.
Is there a chance that such events could be held in Hyderabad and other big cities of Sind province .Children in smaller towns and villages are starved for entertainment . It would be a good idea to have such art events to aware them of basics of art ,music, drama etc and later a complete course could be inducted into school syllabus .
    Thank you
